1) Basic fee $1,500.00 (w/o children and both parties in agreement). Includes consultation with client and preparation of documents. Basic documents- Complaint, Appearance, Judgement, ancillary documents, and one court appearance.

2) Court costs vary dramatically from county to county. They range from a low of $300 to $450 for uncontested matters.

3) Additional fees: There may be modest additional fees for a Child Support Order, a Joint Custody Agreement, a Marital Settlement Agreement or a Qualified Domestic Relations Order. At the first appointment, the client will know the total cost of the Affordable Divorce assuming that the matter remains agreed and undisputed. If the matter becomes disputed, the case will be billed at the rate of $225.00 per hour.
